Love In Perspective

The most vital ingredient in every relationship but quite misunderstood by many... Love is defined in the dictionary as a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. Love has an emotional aspect of it but is not a feeling of emotion as many have made it appear, for this reason, it has been so abused and used in place of Lust. A guy tells a lady, If you love me, you would allow me to sleep with you, and because of sentiments, this ladies let themselves be abused and later they are dumped.

But here's the true meaning of love from the originator Himself.....God!

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.

Love doesn’t strut,

Doesn’t have a swelled head,

Doesn’t force itself on others,

Isn’t always “me first,”

Doesn’t fly off the handle,

Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts God always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end. 1 Cor.13(MSG)

If you claim to Love and yours is nothing like this, then it's either Lust, infatuation or even obsession.
